The F# Low Pygmy is one of our favourite models. It is a pentatonic scale, meaning there are 5 different notes. This makes the instrument very intuitive to play. The scale creates a certain mood which sounds very ethereal and at the same time comforting. The crisp high notes add a nice layer to the instrument.
A side note: the patina on most ember steel handpans is not stable and the instruments are likely to change colour. This does not affect the sound or tuning, it just creates a vintage look.
