The F# Low Pygmy is one of our favorite models. It is a pentatonic scale, meaning there are 5 different notes. This makes the the instrument very intuitve to play. The scale creates a certain mood which sounds very ethereal and at the same time comforting.
A side note: the patina of most ember steel handpans is not stable and the instruments can change their color. This does not affect the sound or tuning and is no problem, it creates a vintage look.
